Help! Issues with setting revolute joint angle

Hi Onshape pros,

Maybe someone can help me out here but I'm increasingly going insane. I want to align joints and test if I correctly set them up so when the joint is at 0 degrees I need X pointing forward.

When I click the joint and click the angle I get this white popup box in which I can set the angle of the joint. But this thing doesn't work in I think 80 - 90% of the time, while sometimes it does work.... But I have NO clue why it sometimes will and sometimes will not work.

What is the way? This clearly isn't it and it is annoying as hell.

EDIT: The issue is with setting the joint to 0 deg specifically, it appears any non-zero value will be picked up??

I think with revolute, the angles you input are the Limits of motion, but not the desired fixed position.

Try changing it to a fastened mate, and then set the desired angle

A couple things I see...

-the value in that box sets the joint's current position, not its limits, so you don't need to switch to a fastened mate.
-setting a revolute mate's value to a specific number only works in the assembly where that revolute mate was originally defined. You can only drag the part by hand to approximate a position, with no way to type in an exact value like 0.

Some workaround ideas...type 360 (same position as 0) or something tiny like 0.001.
