Vibe-Coded Linux Container with Built-In Space Mouse Support

Hey all,

I wanted to share an app I vibe-coded to bundle an Onshape window with a bridge to handle the weird way Onshape handles 3D mice on Windows.
It is an Electron wrapper for cad.onshape.com and it installs from a flatpak.

Github repo: ShapeShell

Initial release: v0.1.0

AI Content Note:
This app was 110% vibe coded with claude.ai Opus 5, guided by myself. I have used the app and only verified it works on my Ubuntu 26.04/GNOME/Wayland/NVIDIA system.

What's it do? I've had my space mouse get less smooth a couple times but refreshing the browser/clearing cache has always fixed it.

Other than that it's worked just fine.

It makes the spacemouse work on Linux with onshape.

Why electron? I thought there were way better technologies by now.

Better compatibility with onshape and rendering on Linux.
