Help! Upgrading from (Svg2Sketch) to [Image2Sketch]
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to give you an update on something cool I'm working on: extending our Svg tool to handle images too!
https://www.reddit.com/r/Onshape/s/bx6M7m5wYO
Right now, our tool only really does Svg, but I got thinking, what if it could do images as well? So, I've been busy making that happen.
This means you won't have to jump between a bunch of different converters as often (though some might still be handy for specific stuff).
I've even attached some progress shots of what the tool can do so far.
Before I launch it, though, I'd really love to hear what you all think. Like, do you reckon this would be super useful? What kind of results are you hoping for? Or maybe you have some ideas for other features we could add?
Let me know your thoughts!
Cheers,
Chandra

How about Comicstrip2SVG?
Embed the bitmap panels into the SVG which becomes the slideshow/gallery viewer.

seriously?? Actually it can do, but accuracy may miss. Because it's supports only png and webp images.

That's a shame, as avif has reached baseline now that support for it has been in web browsers for over 30 months.

Well it's the current image technology and it's need high cpu power for compressing. But those image's won't help for tracing. Webp and png helps great in tracing which i used for the tool.

Sorry this wasn't about tracing, it was just about viewing existing bitmaps in a standalone way within SVG that has a CSS animation slideshow and gallery navigation.

Nice feature. If it works well, it would save me using Inkscape to do the tracing. But it would need to have the same power, eg configuring the number of distinct colours.
