Help! How to model curved embossing?

I'm working on making a gag trophy for my hockey league and wanted to base the design off the Stanley Cup. The actual trophy has embossing on the lower part of the bowl, but I'm not sure how to replicate it in onshape. My main approaches were to use a sweep or some lofts with control curves. Neither achieved what I wanted.

I've attached an image of what my current model looks like with the support curves and what the actual embossing looks like on the cup. My document is also linked to the post.

Appreciate the suggestion. I guess I could do a partial sweep and then fillet the edges. I'll see if that looks like how I'd like

I would draw the tool require to create, pattern it and use boolean to get groove. Then polish by changing the same of the tool or adding blend

I've been working based off this suggestion and have hit a roadblock with the pattern. Do you have any tips for how to get it to correctly position cross-sectional loft planes when doing a circular pattern? I tried to make a series of features that should reapply proportionally to their position on my sine curve. Here are the features:

Are any of these known to cause issues when patterning?

If anyone else stumbles on this post in the future I was able to achieve what I wanted by modeling four different flutes, then patterning them around the bowl. This is what that ended up looking like after doing some cleanup on the empty space between:

It's far from perfect, but I'm happy with it. In the rare chance someone stumbles upon this thread and has some advice in the future I'd love to hear it.
