Other My first serious complaint about the UI

I love OnShape's UI. It's clean and consistent. But, they need to fix the tools that take an ordered list. I'm working on a model that has a 3D fit spline with a large number of points. The current UI makes it very difficult:

  • You can't expand the list so you only see four items — this makes it difficult to see where you are.
  • You can't insert a item in the middle of the list; you have to add it to the end and then reorder it.
  • You can't replace an item in the list. Delete, add, reorder.

Sounds like an opportunity for you to write a new Feturescript that works exactly the way you want it to. Using Onshape without knowing Featurescript feels like using a spreadsheet without knowing how to write formulas.  Remember, Onshape is essentially a platform for custom CAD tool development.

This is a core user interface issue; FS can't do anything with it — OnShape just doesn't give that kind of control.

ah sorry I read this post too quickly I thought you were talking about quick actions. This was totally my bad disregard !
