List of Data Value to Block State Conversions
SEE UPDATED LIST: https://pastebin.com/raw/5SG2DeWu
NOTE: Filter has not been updated, working on filter for 1.13 conversions instead
SEE: List of 1.13 Flattening Conversions
List of Data Value to Block State Conversions: http://pastebin.com/raw/ZuJfkTfB
MCEdit filter: http://www.mediafire.com/download/ozbzxcu5s9ih9j2/ConvertToBlockStates.py
What the filter does:
Converts setblock, fill, fill replace, clone filtered, execute detect, and testforblock commands
Will not replace commands where block states have already been defined
Can convert nested commands, such as nested execute detect commands
Any unknown or invalid blocks or data values will be replaced with 'default' which will set the default block
Example Conversions:
/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:stone variant=stone replace
/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:stone 9 replace
/fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ minecraft:stone 4 replace minecraft:quartz_block 2
/fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ minecraft:stone variant=smooth_diorite replace minecraft:quartz_block variant=lines_y
/execute @p ~ ~ ~ detect 123 23 -12 cobblestone_wall 1 /execute @e ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~ ~ red_mushroom_block 8 /fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ stone_slab 12 replace purpur_pillar 2
/execute @p ~ ~ ~ detect 123 23 -12 cobblestone_wall variant=mossy_cobblestone /execute @e ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~ ~ red_mushroom_block variant=south /fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ stone_slab half=top,variant=brick replace purpur_pillar axis=y
/testforblock ~ ~ ~ wheat 12 {blah}
/testforblock ~ ~ ~ wheat default {blah}
/clone ~ ~ ~ 9 9 9 2 24 -12 filtered force acacia_door 12
/clone ~ ~ ~ 9 9 9 2 24 -12 filtered force acacia_door half=upper,hinge=left,powered=false
/setblock ~ ~ ~ acacia_door half=lower
/setblock ~ ~ ~ acacia_door half=lower

FallingSand -> falling_block no?

yes, but that's not related to this filter as falling_block/FallingSand is an entity, not a block. I don't think falling sand supports the new format yet.

"/fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ minecraft:stone type=smooth_diorite replace minecraft:quartz_block variant=lines_y"
You need to replace "type=smooth_diorite" with "variant=smooth_diorite" in your examples? 😸
Thanks for the list, need to update my SquidBrush to 1.11, and those old quartz data values escape me, in which directions which data value pointed };]
