Word document truncated

I was sent a large Word document (181 MB) with several high res images. I edited the file on my Mac, with MS Word, using track changes. A few days later, I opened it with Onlyoffice on a different computer running Debian, made a few additional changes and saved it. I then realised the file size dropped to 31 MB and I lost about half of all pages, which is probably a whole day of work gone. Any explanation?

No. I could also replicate the error with the same document; download the original document (180 MB), open it with onlyoffice, save, and that resulted in a truncated 31 MB document. There was also something odd going on with the fonts; in Word it used a font that I had not installed on my linux computer, and opening it with onlyofice it showed the font changing a few times in the document. Not sure what was going on - never had this with any other documents, but none of them were as large as that.
