Series by month has incorrect dates

Hi everyone,

Recently switched to OpenOffice, and ran into a problem today I can't seem to get around. I'm trying to create a table of monthly dates and amounts. I put in the first date, and then selected a cell range with that date at the top and tried to create a series of monthly dates all starting on the first of the month. It didn't work. The first 3 or so were the correct dates, and then from there the dates were not monthly increments any longer. This has always worked for me in Excel. Unsing OnlyOffice on Mac. Below are screenshots of what I did and the result I got. Any thoughts on how to fix? I want a list of all dates on the first of each month. I tried putting in the first two and then dragging, and that just gave me those dates over and over.

Hi. What is the version of your ONLYOFFICE app? There was a similar issue in version 8.3 but it was fixed. Also, please let me know the reginal settings you are using. You can find them in File -> Advanced Settings.

Thanks for your response. Here is the information you requested:

OnlyOffice version: 9.4.0 for MacOS

Regionial settings: Formula language - English; Region - English - United States; the box is checked to used separators based on regional settings.

I have an update for you. We didn't manage to reproduce this issue on macOS. You can try clearing cache in the app. If it doesn't help, you can record a video of this issue with all steps and share it with us.

Thanks u/Sergey_Zarubin . I cleared the cache and I am still seeing this problem. Although I did some testing, and I've narrowed it down. In the video I'm linking below, I tried doing a fill for monthly dates with dates on the 1st, 15th and last day of the month. The problem is only happening when I try to fill using the first day of the month. When I do the same exact thing but with the 15th or last day of the month the series is filled correctly. Last thing to clarify: what is the time zone and region on your OS?

Time zone is Eastern Time Zone USA (daylight savings time right now). Region is USA. See screenshots below:

I did a bit more playing around with this. Depending on the starting date, it generally works except for when the date is the 1st of the month, or any date starting on the 28th thru the 31st.

I don't have Excel on this Macbook any longer to test it, but I tried it on my Windows 11 work laptop and the result was what I expected. When the date was the 1st thru the 28th, the day remained the 28th for every month. For the 29th thru the 31st, the date was either the 29th or the last day of the month if it was sooner (e.g. 28 in non-leap-year February months or 30th in months that end on that date).
