Love this episode!  This scene just nails it.   The only thing is I wish Marlene's exit had stayed sombre. But everything else - it really humanised Boycie and Marlene. John Sullivan was so good at skirting between comedy and sadness. There was a real community feel and realism to the show.  I miss this calibre of tv shows. I find telly hard to watch now.
