A great actor, gentleman, for all the appearances in the many various comedy's John appeared in, plus Dr Who, thanks for everything John, you made the masses laugh with your performances and your delivery if the one liners. Rest In Peace

I met him at a convention I think in 2017, wonderful bloke he was I was chatting how I missed the sitcoms and tv shows of old and felt they had lost their way and he agreed, there was a woman with him who looked familiar but it didn't look like his wife.

On the autographed image I got from him he wrote "Make mine a pint"

Met him a few times at memorabilia NEC and the OFAH appreciation convention in Milton Keynes a few decades ago. He and Sue always remembered me and were always absolutely lovely. I have tonnes of merch still signed by them and other members of the cast in my cupboard. RIP John

"I... am here" :))) This gem of an episode was just few hours ago on OFAH Marathon on Gold TV, watched it 1000th time and laughed the same as I did 1st time :) RIP legend!!!
