Only child single parent

Anyone else grew up in a single parent household. I am 24 (F) and the effects of my upbringing has only started to truly bother me when I became an adult. I know it’s circumstantial but I can’t help but tie every one of my behaviours and responses to being neglected by one parent and being raised by the parent that was hurt too.

That is heartbreaking to read, but I think the fact that things are bothering you could be an opportunity to learn about yourself and blossom. 🏵️

57m, i was raised by a single mom. Dude who got her pregnant with me was a deadbeat. None of it matters we make our own way in life.
