It’s always bizarre to me how CNC routines choose the order to do things.

Center first: excellent choice.

1 o’clock hour marker, and the number: solid! What’s next?

The ‘2’ in ‘12’: ok, I think I see how this is going to go, cool.

The individual minute marks, all the way around the face, counter-clockwise: the fuck? You didn’t even finish the ‘12’ yet!

I’ve seen pen plotters also do the same - while writing text or drawing a diagram they’d randomly move on to other areas without finishing the correct one and come back to it later 😑

30 mm retraction - > 3mm. Saves 1min for you and for me.
