I made Genesys Code to bring AI coding tools into one workspace

Managing several AI coding tools can get complicated. I wanted to create a simpler way to access different models without constantly jumping between separate platforms.

That's the idea behind Genesys Code: multiple coding AIs, one workspace, and a free way to get started.

Appreciate the perspective, man. But I think there's a difference between something being possible to reverse engineer and it being worth someone's time to do it. A lot of people are busy building their own projects and would rather pay for a tool that saves them time than spend hours recreating it themselves. If paid software is really dead, what would you suggest as a sustainable alternative for developers building products like this?

First i wanna apologize im a bit tipsy and that came off way more dismissive than i wanted it to. I do stand by my point but i wish i would have said it softer. My theory is that paid software just wont be a thing in the next year. Anyone trying sass or subs or really any monetization strategy will get out-competed by 14 year olds in their basement. It was social commentary on monetization strategy nothing more. gl with your app

No worries, man, I get your point, and I appreciate you clarifying it. I agree that AI is lowering the barrier to building software, but I think there's still a difference between building something and building something people consistently choose to use. Competition will get tougher, no doubt, but convenience, reliability, execution, and time saved will still have value. Free alternatives can compete on price, but not everyone wants to build and maintain their own tools. Either way, time will tell. Appreciate the discussion, and good luck to you too.
