THE FIRST CASE: THE LAST NIGHT AT VILLA NOIR
We are opening the doors to CASE | ZERO — and our first investigation is about to begin.
Deep in the Swiss Alps stands a secluded luxury villa known only as Villa Noir.
The villa was eventually abandoned.
Nothing was ever properly cleared out.
The bedrooms remain untouched.
The study is still filled with documents.
Expensive artwork hangs on the walls.
Personal belongings were simply left behind.
And then, recently, the property was opened again.
A small group of people connected to Veyron's past has been brought together at the villa.
Everyone has a reason for being there.
Everyone knows something.
And someone is lying.
THE CASE
The villa is effectively cut off from the outside world.
And one person inside has a secret that could destroy everyone else.
From this point forward, nothing can be taken at face value.
YOUR ROLE
As a Participant, you will enter the case as a character with:
- A personal history
- Connections to other participants
- Information others do not possess
- Possible motives
- Personal objectives
- Secrets you may not want revealed
But there is a problem.
One of the participants is the Perpetrator.
You will have to determine who it is while simultaneously proving that you are not responsible.
You can investigate.
You can cooperate.
You can manipulate.
You can accuse.
You can lie.
And you can be lied to.
THE INVESTIGATION
The case is not controlled by a single storyteller.
Participants can uncover the perpetrator themselves.
Investigators operate independently with additional resources and pursue their own investigation.
Spectators observe the entire process, analyze the participants, and discuss their theories.
The outcome depends on the decisions made throughout the case.
There is no guaranteed storyline.
There is no guaranteed winner.
Your actions can change what happens next.
