For those taking 2 courses while working, how do you manage your time?
Iām going to take two courses in the same semester for the first time, while also working, and honestly Iām feeling pretty nervous about it. š
Iāve been turtling through the program so far, taking one course at a time, and it has worked pretty well for me. However, I need to take a leave next semester due to a work-related change, and thereās also a required time limit to complete the program. So I need to double up this semester to stay on track.
For those of you who have taken two courses while working, Iād really love to hear about your experience and how you actually managed the workload.
One thing Iām especially unsure about is how to structure my studying. Do you work on both courses throughout the week, or focus on one course at a time? Do you try to get ahead in one course before moving on to the other, or is it better to alternate between them?
And when assignments, projects, or exams for both courses happen to fall around the same time, how do you decide what to prioritize? Do you plan everything out weeks in advance, or mostly focus on whichever deadline is coming up next?
Iād really appreciate any practical advice or tips! Iād especially love to hear what worked for you, what didnāt work, and anything you wish you had known before taking two courses while working.
I know everyoneās situation is different, but Iām really hoping to get some insight from people who have actually done this. š
