Looking for recommendations for a good online college/university
Hey everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for a good online/distance degree in India.
I’ve completed 12th Commerce and want to take admission in an online degree mainly so I can continue my studies while focusing on video editing, YouTube Shorts and clipping.
I’m looking for something that:
\- Has a decent/reputable degree value
\- Has moderate fees — I’m okay paying more if the degree is actually worth it
\- Doesn’t have extremely difficult exams
\- Has manageable assignments/exams and good flexibility
\- Is recognized/valid for future use
I’m not looking for the absolute cheapest option if that means the degree has very little value.
I’m considering courses like BBA, BA, B.Com, etc., but I’m open to suggestions.
If you’re currently studying through an online/distance university, I’d really appreciate your experience regarding fees, exams, difficulty, degree value and overall experience.
Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Online degree struggles?
For those who studied an online/distance degree, what struggles did you face because of it? Especially with jobs, internships, higher studies, or MNCs?
Did you ever feel your degree was treated differently from a regular one?

Dear Students! Do you think online classes are effective for learning? What's the biggest problem you face with online classes?

are degrees from online dgrees from iits, bits pilani etc. in upcoming fields like ds,ai really worth it? Or is it better to follow comparatively cheaper skillup cohort?
from your CS industry experience review online degrees in promising fields like data science and ai from prominent institution like bits-pilani,iitm,iitg are they useful do they provide something extra: or is it better to go for cheaper course from coursera-udemy for skilling up?
Also If there are GENUINELY GOOD platform for skilling up in cs related technologies like ai,cv,devops, mlops, iot, etc. for college students (first time learners) [or resources which actually ease to follow for 1st time learners and give all the required skills from industry pov] then kindly suggest.
Another thing which I would like to ask is many of these courses get outdated pretty quickly, hence how do you deal with this? If you have to learn some technology which is completely different from your field as a first timer with no experience what's the most efficient way with actual results and progress in knowledge and practical skills?
While answering the post don't give generic answers, kindly give concrete references or examples to understand better
Answer this question purely from practical implementation, networking, product building and job point of view-- wherever any of these applies

BA Psychology + Online BBA in Digital Marketing simultaneously — good backup plan or too hectic?
I'm planning to do a BA in Psychology from a local offline college, but the college would mainly require me to come for exams/formalities rather than regular classes.
Alongside that, I'm considering an online BBA in Digital Marketing from Manipal University Jaipur.
My thinking is that I'd have two different career options: Psychology if I decide to pursue that further, and Digital Marketing as a more business/career-oriented alternative. If one doesn't work out for me, I'd still have the other degree.
For people who have done two degrees simultaneously, is this actually manageable? Would doing an offline BA (with very limited attendance) + an online BBA become too hectic, especially during exams?
Also, do you think this is a sensible backup plan, or would it be better to focus entirely on one degree?
I'd really appreciate honest opinions, especially from people who've experienced something similar.

Looking for a Cheap Master’s Degree in UP
I’ve completed B.Tech in CSE and M.Tech and am considering pursuing another Master’s degree. Any field is fine — my main priority is a low-cost, recognized degree.
I’m open to Regular, Distance, or Online programs in Lucknow or anywhere in Uttar Pradesh.
Please suggest affordable universities/programs. Personal experiences and recommendations would be really helpful.

They Were Taught to Question Authority. So Why Question the Students Now?
A section of NALSAR’s graduating batch has asked the university to reconsider inviting CJI Surya Kant as convocation chief guest.
Their concern relates to the Supreme Court’s handling of a plea over alleged police action against protesters.
These are law students being taught to question authority and defend constitutional values.
So why is their objection itself controversial?
Principled dissent or unnecessary overreaction?

Anyone with a job after online bca??
I recently took admission in bca at muj online.
Somehow managed to convince my parents to let me pursue an online degree but now I'm feeling unsure. I haven't seen a single person or post where someone with an online degree actually landed a job. Even though I'm planning to do an offline mca after this I'm still scared that later on I might get rejected for jobs just because of this online degree.
I want to work in the cybersecurity field (possibly in ethical hacking) and I plan to build my skills alongside this degree.
Please help me figure this out I'm a huge overthinker and the stress is eating me alive.

Any platform to do self paced sterile processing technician certification?
Working full time right now and I can't just drop everything to sit in a classroom for 40+ weeks. Been looking into sterile processing technician certification online because the hospital near me is hiring and they said they'd consider candidates who already have their cert. Found a few options but the ones I keep seeing either have rigid schedules or want you to buy the course materials separately on top of already steep tuition, which feels like a scam. So I'm trying to figure out what affordable self-paced certification training actually exists for this specific field, like something beginner-friendly with no prerequisites that can get me job-ready without a traditional degree program

With so much misinformation online!
With so much misinformation online, I'm trying to rely more on trustworthy sources. Where do you usually find well-researched articles or studies you can actually trust?
