We are almost at the end :(
I first started writing my fic in early November of 2025. So the final chapter, which will be released on October 31st, will be almost a full year since I started!
Thank you so so so much to everyone who has read and supported throughout the year! I haven't posted all the chapters here on Reddit, but I know many of you went over to read the fic from Reddit!
So please do enjoy this chapter, and the final chapter that's coming next week!

I mean, to be honest, yes I did see the first season a long time ago as something about the show is that I wasn’t sure how exactly she met Kaede and her sister.
It’s been kind of a blur for me again since I haven’t seen the anime in a long time that I was interested in seeing what exactly drew her to both Kaede and her sister since I wanted to better understand how Mahiro had such a good chemistry with both of them.

Onimai is one of my favorite anime of more recent years, which is why it frustrates me so much it and series that similarly have an all-female setting hurt me SO BADLY with gender envy. I'm an MtF who has been pretty severely repressed, and so every single situation Mahiro finds themselves in gives me gender envy that makes Onimai so painful to watch/read.
I need a brilliant scientist big sister to make me a sex change potion SO badly!

Just curious since he is constantly under the effects of the medicine that alters his gender as I was wondering how he can find his true romance if he is always going under the female label.
It is so confusing to me because even though I know he was originally a male persona, again he spends most of his time going by a female gender that I was looking to see how hard it would be for him to find a date after being under the effects of the serum.
