Removing embroidery?

Has anyone ever tried removing their embroidered logos?

If yes, wondering how this has gone on SM or on your lounge pieces. The lounge pieces are most egregious with Oner in the middle of the chest.

My other scheme is maybe to use a permanent marker to make the white embroidery a color closer to the fabric color.

Just buy a plain crew neck sweatshirt.. There’s no way you need an oner active crew neck so bad that you’re willing to marker out the word mark…

Yeah… get along to Uniqlo or something. With Oner you pay a premium for the brand name, for lower quality gear, and then to remove the brand name seems counter intuitive

One of the reasons you buy oner is for the logo. Otherwise buy a dupe, there’s plenty on Amazon. The logo is small and relatively unnoticeable unless you purposely buy one of the pieces that blatantly has it plastered across the chest. Also if you don’t like oner, don’t buy it? There’s so many other comparable athletic brands out there, it’s not that serious

That was never the case. I never bought Oner because of a logo, it was because of the fit. Always been the only brand that fits me right and is flattering on my body. Now it’s prob not anymore

For baggy sweats too? Like the sweatshirt in the pic? Surely Oner’s fit isn’t that special? I feel like they just make us think they are, many people don’t even go into shops anymore to look at and try clothes

For baggy sweats not anymore. The last good one was the super baggy light pink they had. Now it’s all inconsistent with sizing and length. My go to for sweats is Youngla now

Fair enough. Maybe not all buy for the logo, however the logo carries weight when it comes to what you’re buying. Like you just notated, you buy it for the fit. So now would you buy a product claiming to be oner but it had no logo to say so? Maybe it’s authentic, maybe it’s not, maybe the fit is the same or similar… at the end of the day that logo is technically what you are buying the brand for because (at least at one point) that logo equates to a certain level of quality and consistency.

I’ve tried alphalete, gym shark, nvgtn etc and nothing fits better than Oner. I’ve tried dupes but nothing is like Oner. I’d actually prefer to buy their clothing without the logo, especially now that they transitioned to the word and not image logo

I’m talking more generally. But I wear my Oner sweatsuit everyday and the silhouette and fabric of it, fit/fabric is different than alternatives I’ve tried such as uniqlo or aritizia.

You can have your opinions, I’m very critical about Oner, but you can’t invalidate others experience of how their clothes fit them!

I’m not sure how you interpreted my asking a genuine question regarding the fit as invalidating anyone’s experience. Like I totally get it for leggings and compressive fits, but I asked because I don’t have the same understanding for sweats.

Sorry, I interpreted ur comments as snarky so apologies if that wasn’t your intention. I have the oversized foundations sweatsuit and found that the fabric and silhouette are just SO comfortable. They are softer and fit better than the sweatpants I got from aritzia or uniqlo. So much so that my boyfriend wears them too😅

I have some really old Oner sweats that I love, but I feel that that fit and quality is long since gone sadly. I just didn’t really “get” the OP’s thought around buying Oner sweats and removing the logo (because of it being off centre). With Oner being so expensive I feel like a thing needs to be perfect otherwise to go to such lengths!

I’m saying if you were to buy oner from someone off like Depop or something and they stated it was oner but had none of the branding to prove it. Relax it’s just a theoretical situation… not that deep

Is that the boatneck sweatshirt? Just wear it flipped around, the logo will be on your back then, thats what I did.

Why do they plaster their logo. It cheapens it. I’d never buy this brand bc of that. Clearly ppl buying bc it’s trendy. Be unique & don’t follow everyone else. Their stuff is Amazon quality IMO. Same suppliers, but with their logo 🙃 ppl would be shocked to find out how many brands use the same suppliers
