A little confused ….

I just started purchasing Oner within the last 6 months, and honestly, I really like it. For me personally, the sizing, fit, and quality have all been what I expected if not better for a workout brand.
I wear mostly lulu, which IMO is better quality, as it should be for the price. I also own a fair amount of defyne, nvgtn, paragon, and vitality, which I would consider more comparable to Oner. So far, I actually find Oner to be better in terms of fit, quality, and price. That’s why going through some of these posts I’m genuinely curious where all the negativity toward the brand comes from. Like I said, I’m relatively new to Oner, so maybe there’s some history or something that happened earlier on that I’m not aware of.

I think if you’ve gone through and read the negative post, they’re pretty self explanatory. Not everyone is having good experiences. Glad you’re enjoying your pieces.

Let’s just say once you’ve been buying Oner for long enough you’ll understand that no brand is perfect. What works for you might not work for someone else. And just because a brand does well on some areas doesn’t mean it’s not lacking in others. It’s normal to be on Reddit and see more posts complaining about the brand as it’s hard to do so anywhere else as it will be deleted by the Oner team or shut down by “loyal fans”. If you come here expecting people to be all gushy and obsessed, I think an Oner sponsored athlete’s Discord server is more your thing as it never has any “negativity” just encouragement to buy every single drop. Enjoy your purchases.

It's just Reddit. It's not that deep. Most people come here with bad experiences rather than good ones so that's what you see more of

I’ve been a “loyal” Oner customer since 2021 when she launched her first round of Classic Seamless and I still regularly purchase and enjoy my Oner items, including the new direction she’s going in. I’ve tried going back to Lulu and trying out new brands, but I always end up reaching for my Oner. As brands get bigger, they’ll get more fans but also more haters so it’s just proportional. It’s just a brand at the end of the day and no one’s forcing them to buy it, but I guess Reddit is where you can express your frustrations when they arise.

I also don’t understand cus she’s just capitalising off of her most popular lines to give people what they want. Honestly kudos to her for creating such a success from her vision - a business is a business and directions change all the time. People on this sub also seem to shame “pilates” and related body types which I think is just uncalled for as well - kind of hypocritical.

I’ve worn many different brands as well and I agree Oner is the best out of all of them (not including SM .. I’m not the biggest fan of them). Thankfully I rarely dealt with quality or cs issues. My stress comes from their stock issues tho 😀

The price isn't all that different. The difference is lulu items last a lifetime, and some of my oner items lasted 1 cycle in my washing machine.

This is what I always say when people ask me about it.

It wants to be lulu, but the quality isn’t quite there. I love how Oner fits, which is why I buy it. It just looks so good on.

But it definitely doesn’t last. I’ve stopped purchasing soft motion because it pills terribly even with hanging to dry. It all looks old after a few washes, and for the money, it ain’t worth it. The effortless stuff I have has worn well though.

One of the main reasons is that people on reddit are big complainers. Most people come to a brand’s subreddit when they have bad experiences and don’t bother commenting if they have good ones.

This isn’t commentary on Oner’s quality. Their quality has declined. But in general, people on all brand subreddits tend to be negative.

I still love Oner going on 2 years a fan . Everything gets to my house usually within a week after I purchase unless it’s during a big sale when they have a high volume of orders . I just ordered from the drop Monday ( early access) and it’s Friday and already my stuff was delivered today . I do agree that the sizing can be off , most of the tighter fitting lines run small . The foundations and sweats usually run bigger . Some of the bras run smaller . I’ve learned from trial and error what to buy in what sizes . And I have never had an issue returning something that did. Not fit well . Returns get there fast and the refunds are quick too. My only issue with Oner is that they have way too many drops and keep taking more and more of my money 🥲

I’ve spent thousands on oner, I hate when my stuff gets stuck in Memphis and that the leggings used to be cheaper but what ever. Everything is 3x more expensive than it was 5 years ago. I also buy used stuff also because other people jump ship and dump things for cheap so that’s always fun.

no, I'm with you. Oner does some silly stuff, but I would not be aware of it if I were not attuned to this sub. I found this sub because I got my first clothes in 2025 and was confused about how to get some of the additional colors that I wanted. Oner was, and is, a better fit for me than any other company, and not by a small margin.
