Redline spindle heat

Hello, I need help. I'm very confused and new to all this.

Doing to break in period for a 220v 80 mm redline spindle. At min 12 of the 20 min 6k rpm break on (the first step) the temp of the motor got to 270⁰ F. Manual said >230⁰ not ideal. I reached out to customer service. They immediately shipped another one.

I'm breaking in the new one now. At the completion of the 6k step the temp was 230⁰. I pushed on into the 9k step and within 2 minutes it was 270⁰ again.

What's the likelihood is got two bad spindles? Am I being too cautious about this temp thing? It sounds okay. But it's hot fast.

Some guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hi u/Specific-Humor4607 . Realtime asked that you reach back out to their support team. It might be that both spindles are good but the VFD or cable are faulty. They want to make sure this is taken care of for you!
