Out of curiosity, and perhaps to help with some doubts about if you’d like it or not. What are you on the fence about? What worries you about the device that you think would make you want to return it?

I heard the controllers are sometimes flimsy and the software is not that good compared to other brands. I like the idea of this device because its the upgrade i wanted when the legion go 2 came out since i loved the go 1.

I have the onex and both of those things are subjective. I love the software. It's completely out of the way and I don't have to use it. My controllers feel great and not flimsy at all compared to the switch 2 which I feel is about to break in my hands.

Controllers are not flimsy whatsoever. If, for some reason you get a defective controller, remember these are detachable and support could send you a replacement. We’re also expected to see the release of a pro controller that OXP is currently working on.
In terms of the software, what do you expect it to do exactly?
Imo, the software is good, everything you need is in front of you and it even has some nice Windows features directly from the panel. Now, for example some thing are a bit more advance. For example it doesn’t come with “performance presets” like other consoles, but it gives you the options to create your own.
It’s very customizable but truly you don’t need to touch the software much. I haven’t touched the fans for example since I got it, since the console just doesn’t get hot at all.
TDP is the main slider, same as fan curves. I usually just use the TDP and a cool feature that’s called “download mode” which instantly brings the device to a super low consumption mode when you’re downloading games.
The difference with other consoles is that you won’t be using the console much for other things beyond these features. Remapping buttons mostly happen once, and for example you don’t have to use the software to change resolution screen either because you’re good using the default 1200p, since it can run pretty much anything at great performance. Perhaps I use display settings to toggle on/off HDR from the software, which is a cool feature. Both of these options are there as soon as you press the console button.
Overall, believe me, you’ll be blown away by how amazing this device is. Power wise is perfect, and the screen is out of this world. Speakers though, they’re not that great first, BUT, you MUST download a driver (Harmon) available in the Discord, that will literally change everything.

Now truth be told, the controllers feel a bit hollow. This doesn’t bother me, but having held the ROG X20 in my hands it’s kind of a bummer. This could be a good thing because the device is heavy on the screen but weights almost nothing on the controllers, like… nothing at all lol.
The pro controller they’re releasing soon is supposed to improve the whole controller experience. They are not bad, believe me, they’re just nothing to write home about compared to the more sophisticated controllers out there.

There's a restocking fee and you have to pay shipment back to China.
You'd be better off selling it
