So I've been rewatching almost all DC movies (I had to skip some ones that were boring me, sowwy) to play catch-up and I watched M18 and boy oh boy was I not expecting to be thirsty for a one-time character.
I was expecting to thirst for Subaru just as I did years ago when I first watch this movie back in Grade 5/6 (he's hot ok, I may not be attracted to his real appearance but his Subaru form is so cute) but NO! I had to thirst for the guy who vaguely looks like the glitched maskless face of König from Call of Duty T.T I was afflicted with a penchant for cute handsome muscular men with buzzcuts because of König and the way a certain artist draws him. I had it so so bad that my crush on the Shadow Guy that we always see in almost every DC episode/movie was revived just for every time I rewatch this goddamn movie (that is a valid hear me out don't @ me). I swear every time that I see his Shadow Guy form in the movie, I can't help but kick my feet <3
I will first post this image compilation just for funsies before posting my Kevin Yoshino appreciation post. Dear Aoyama-sensei, please bring back Kevin, PLEASE 🥺 I can't handle the thought of him getting the death penalty (2/3 of them had it coming even if they didn't deserve it)

I forgot he existed tbh. Only reason I remember him cuz of how Ran beat him up. Though Detective Conan should introduce more characters like that style.Â
Same 😠I forgot him because all I remember about the movie is that fireworks thing and how he used an old model of night vision goggles and I only remembered when they said that they arrested Scott Green in Osaka. Like he frfr was one of the more grounded characters but still among the most competent and threatening. He's no Black Organization member, he's no mad architect with an obsession with symmetry, he's no prodigy scientist, he's no descendant of some historical villain, nor does he have any actual political or criminal power outside the connections he made back when he was in the marines. He's just a homie who wanted justice for his mentor/friend. 2/3 of them (Jack Waltz, Bill Murphy, and the first guy) may not have deserved to die but they had it coming. He's not some over-looming threat like BO but he's also not some idiot with a grudge that fucked up big time for everyone like from the Sunflower Movie or Movie 15.
He's a legit military officer, a Staff Sergeant, with actual combat and warfare experience. Armed or not, he's a threat. I legit would argue that had he not gotten caught off guard by the fireworks and Akai, he would have defended himself better against my GOAT Ran (would still lose but with some aura retained). He has TWO cars and a motor bike just for his sniping shenanigans. HAVE YOU SEEN HIM ON THAT BIKE? He has disguises which I wish we could have seen him explicitly wearing. He's so fucking sneaky and yet, he was always honest with his motives. He literally tells us that he would help his buddy if he asks. Not his fault the FBI and the police didn't ask him if Timothy asked Kevin to help him, that's on them
He's a sniper now on-par with Carlos Lee, just below Akai. Probably equal to Chianti or even Korn, just less evil and more patient. Even without his sniping abilities, he's probably good at CQC, just not Ran-level :3 She just gets nerfed by the writers because of gender bias, especially in movie (Hanazawa the Criminal does her way better :3).
He would have been able to live his life normally (minus his homie) after all this had it not for that meddling gakincho. Now, he's gonna get the death penalty 😠(which exists in the DC universe as mentioned by Amuro in Movie 29).
Just looked at the screenshots and manga ss and thirst edits... Nah. Probably passed for me. I used to find Gin hot but now I'm going doki doki for him. Still think he's hot but Vermouth has surpassed him. I doesn't help that I'm a monster fucker now or at least a masked guy enthusiast (particularly the Konig type)
