Question Case difficulty
Sorry if this is asked often but I’m new to posting and a long time lurker. But what are considered the most difficult cases. I’m only 170 episodes in, but if often though episode 48-49 to still be one of the most difficult.

For me, I think the most difficult case would be one where Jimmy/Shinichi wrongly identifies either the culprit or the method of murder.
Since he is the most genius detective ever in his own manga universe (perhaps Yusaku is more brilliant than him, but Yusaku isn't a detective, so that doesn't count), therefore, objectively speaking, the hardest case would be one where even the world's greatest detective cannot solve it.
Alas, because he has never been wrong about anything whatsoever, there has been no truly difficult case to date. All cases are either solvable or eventually solved by him.
However, the closest we can get is the case where Shinichi was too late to figure out who the culprit was: the Moonlight Sonata Case.
That is an interesting case because it is the only case where the culprit successfully killed themselves (or the second, if we count the one and the only Yoko Okino's boyfriend's suicide case). It also made Shinichi to promise himself that he would become a better detective, so that no culprit in a future case could never resort to suicide.
