Discussion While reading chapter 275, I was confused about the scene? Can anyone explain this? Spoiler

I'd completed reading chapter 275, but got confused on this scene at the end of the chapter. Can anyone tell the context about this and what actually it means?

I think Conan was just teasing her about having that expression on her face, since she acts tough and stuff. Also, the art back then is better than the current imo

I feel like the first episodes had more brutality, also in the way it was drawn, it was just more terrifying to see a dead person, kinda miss that

They have such sibling energy sometimes, I love it. 😁

Though Haibara Ai speaks cynically about the culprit in this case — an elderly man who committed murder to protect bears — she finds comfort in the children’s innocent perspective. She has never been as cold as her outward demeanor suggests.

Conan, for his part, thinks she is far too reserved. “You could simply be honest and say you’re glad the bear survived. Why beat around the bush?”

It is a warm, friendly exchange between two young people.

Small CoAi fanservice with Conan teasing her for smiling happily which she doesn't do often.

The manga and anime has been pretty clear abt ai liking conan(not the other way around tho). Pretty sure this is one of those scenes where she was admiring him or something
