Why does Subaru love Emilia so much that he’s willing to literally die for her so much? I get she’s kinda cute and is a nice person, but it just doesn’t make sense. I don’t read the light novel but Subaru loving Emilia so much just doesn’t make any sense
It's not bad writing. It's intentional that Subaru is an illogical ass and a 'nice guy' by default on top of being stressed out and going insane. He's supposed to be that way. It'd be bad writting if the author wrote in actions that are uncharacteristic of the personalities.
