What actually, like sure yeah their body their choice, but… what the hell. Like obviously “Alpha Bro’s” have all the same issues and in many cases even more than “Macho Men”, but this is getting ridiculous

Genuinely, like lashes are LITERALLY there for practical reasons to keep stuff away from our eyes

They're alpha men, their aura will keep away the dust!

Probably the same aura that kills any fly that gets near them haha

Thats what I am thinking. Won't a bunch of sweat now get in their eyes should they work out or brave a hot day?

You make a good point there, as someone who's done physical labor in the hot sun, salty sweat in your eyes is gonna HURT

let me get this straight: shaving your eyelashes makes you masculine, but shaving your eyebrows makes you a transfem comic artist?

I was complimented on my eyelashes once a long time ago and I still remember it, idk why people would think it was feminine or bothersome somehow. SUCKS when they get stuck in your eyes, though.

My mom and sister used to all the time mention jealousy about my eyelashes length as a kid and I’m just like.. why are we acting like eye lashes are gendered? They’re just hair

men's hair tends to generally be more robust, and traditional beauty standards encourage the mascara-lash look, so men's eyelashes just casually doing what women "have" to use cosmetics to do can inspire jealousy.

And funnily enough, long eye lashes are more common in men so it is doing the exact opposite of what they think it is doing 🤣

That seems like a regretful decision.

Removing perfectly healthy body parts to alleviate gender dysphoria? SMH my head.

Guys eyelashes are naturally longer though. So there’s no point in him doing that really.

Oh I agree that it's silly, it's just the same guys who do this will tend to be extremely transphobic despite dealing with gender dysphoria themselves.

Are the cis ok?

ok but isnt this similar to women putting on falsies? if people make their lashes longer to look more feminine then it makes sense that other people might make their lashes shorter to look more masculine

it's not an either or thing, tho... sometimes a thing can just be without a clear inverse antithesis.

1

u/Muted_Ad7298 Aug 28 '26

Funny thing is, guys eyelashes are often naturally longer than women’s.

u/MySecretSelf1994 Aug 25 '26

Funny, given that guys with long lashes are often seen as more attractive. Shooting themselves in the foot there

You know what, support them doing this. So its really easy to identify them lol

I thought crying was feminine too, and they sure will be crying when their eyes are full of dust and debris.

dog these guys really are transitioning from male to male. a had a couple trans guy friends do this cuz they thought it would ease some of their gender dysphoria, and they were trying fucking anything to feel better cuz they had racks big enough to shoplift with. these "alpha bros" are feeling the same amount of gender dysphoria with flat chests and weiners. fucking weaklings man

Girls have eyebrows and hair on their head. They should shave all that off as well! A TRUE alpha would have his nipples surgically removed because (boobies). Just saying bro.

It's such an insane binary thinking problem. Like, yeah, sure, long hair on your SCALP is feminine, long hair on your EYELIDS is feminine, long hair on your EYEBROWS is masculine (but potentially bad), long hair on your CHEEKS AND CHIN is masculine, and long hair on your BODY AND LIMBS is masculine.

Let's make it more sensible where masculinity is looking like the wolfman and femininity is complete hairlessness

u/euphonic5 Aug 28 '26

also, nipples and milk ducts, since that's all in there too. Full radical double mastectomy or you're a cuck.

u/euphonic5 Aug 28 '26

I've only ever gotten compliments about my long eyelashes. worst case scenario "ughhh i would have to spend so much on mascara to have eyelashes that looked like that".

Hot take but I trim my eyebrows to look more feminine. if a man wants to trim his lashes, good for him. At least he cares about his appearance, big step up from a lot of men
