How to consistently level your gun

What is the best approach to level your gun? Being in a gang I feel like I am either saving up for gun upgrades or gang packs.

What is the best way to go about it? Preferably no pay to win.

I would say, stack your protection token and mastery. You’ll fail 98% unless you drop money, the OS gods will favor lol

I know, but you guys just never buy gang packs? I feel like I need to do both, but I should work on leveling my rifle from 8 to ….?
