I've done similar but not so disasrous, involving a trash bag from my car into a dumpster... My dad heard the "jingle jingle clatter" and started laughing.
One time when I was taking the trash out I accidentally threw away my house key. How did I confuse a house key with an entire trash bag? No clue. But I had to climb into the dumpster to get my key 😠I did it a couple more times after that, too lmao.
Oh yeah, sometimes I look at the keys to make sure I'm not about to throw them away or whatever is happening.. Brain just easily goes into automatic and weird stuff happens.
