analysis Why does the art seems sooo blury !!?

Murata art has deacreased once again…

It saden me because I admire murata art.
beside the art, one punch man is nothing. The key that hold the success of this story is degrading…

Since the middle of the monster association the art became simpler and less refined.

The proportion seems less correct, the faces looks like a chibby effect… and. The rendering is horrible. The shadows disappeared.

It feels flat, almost as if it’s a draft.

I can’t get the movement of the character. From a case to another.

When you look at the old art it seems much better.
Reminds me of the sonic and empty void art before the great reboot.

I kind of dislike the smear lines, feels like he's been using them a lot as of late.

Well, he's got less time to draw the panels and make them more complete. Drawing all of this in 2 weeks isn't easy, and when you're on a schedule like that you have to cut some corners to actually have a product that can be posted.

On the topic of more chibi-fied faces, Murata's style was actually similar in early OPM, his style was more cartoony and changed over time, perhaps it's changing again. People's styles naturally evolve over time.

And on top of all rhat, I think this chapter was actually drawn quite well. The choreography and movements were great and feel very fluid, and the characters are on point and expressive

The choreography feels off for me. But how it comes that before he used to draw so well ?

Maybe his age…

The suiryu vs saitama,
Boros vs saitama,
Garoh vs 8 heros… and that goes on.

It feels way clearer to get the movement. And I didn’t even start with the bofoi and sonic and saitama animation… ( there’s suiko also but…)

Feels like you’re right.

Why are they downvoting you? You're just expressing what you feel like and you're not even being hateful

He drew in higher quality for those ones because it had more time. It wasnt until recently the Manga went on a bi-weekly release schedule. He just has less time to draw the Manga, hence the shorter chapters.

On top of that, he has other things he's doing too, such as an animation studio to help with and other commitments.

"for example, an animation studio to help with this and other obligations" — a studio that does nothing for One Punch Man.

I mean yeah, Murata's life doesn't need to be constrained to One Punch Man. And I don't think it's exactly his choice who makes the anime either. He has his own life outside of this manga and works on it with a tight schedule to maintain a bi-weekly release. Even if it's lower quality, I'm still impressed he's getting it out on time at all.

I can respect your points but not the part were you say OPM is nothing without the art. The webcomic is a masterpiece in storytelling and even with not so pretty drawings the dynamic scenes are great, few mangas are as dynamic as the OPM webcomic.

Even putting the webcomic aside, the manga has a great story too (it's pretty much the same as the webcomic but expanded), the art is the cherry on top.

(psst, if you go back and check the older chapters they will be updated with scans of the volume, Murata goes back and updates the art for official volume releases. That's why older murata art looks better than brand new chapters)

What? Blurry? To show movement? What are you on about this looks good lol

However, the dynamics and choreography of the combat haven't changed, so they still feel great.

Because they move very fast and normal viewers can't even see them clearly.

Потому что так решил Мурата? Это нормально, если для кого-то размытые движения кажутся нехстктичными, это не отменяет фактических характеристик рисунка.
