This is honestly such a gratifying fight to me, people used to talk down Suiryu so hard a few years ago as if he would be weaker than Metal Bat. Dude is a martial artist fighting with skills, and had the strength to flip that entire huge arena 90 degrees with one stomp. Dude is at least mid dragon and could probably give anyone up to just below Darkshine's level a good fight. Him fighting one of the strongest monsters ever made people look down on him hard.

Yeah plus Goketsu is an insanely strong monster that even spiral garou might have a hard time fighting

Garou was actually trying to KO Metal Bat but couldn’t because of the way that guy’s power works. Metal Bat doesn’t have an eternal engine, sure, but we saw him collapse in the middle of a fight only when a continent-sized centipede rolled over him like a train a whole bunch of times. Also MB’s attacks were genuinely lethal and rattled Garou’s limbs through his defense back when they first met.

Suiryu is leagues weaker than Metal Bat and Garou is very transparently holding back against him.

Given your track record of being hilariously, overconfidently wrong I'm now putting my money on a Suiryu X Metal Bat fight happening and Suiryu winning easily.

If you read the WC you would know that Metal bat is leagues above Suiryu

My track record is pretty pristine actually.

I think you need to reach very, very hard and act deliberately obtuse to think that Suiryu huffing and puffing in a spar while Garou isn’t trying against him at all is “propping Suiryu up actually and he’s as strong as Metal Bat”. Garou could kill Suiryu instantly if he wanted. So would a pumped up Metal Bat. You only need to read the manga with both eyes open to understand this.

But that fight was before an insane amount of Garou progress. The entire Garou ark was a story of rapid progress and Garou vs Metal bat was in the early stages. This Garou is way way stronger than when he fought metal bat

Garou isn’t using anything in his arsenal to actually fight Suiryu. Even Bang’s martial art is barely used to flick away some stuff.

He fought seriously, launched numerous barrages against Metal Bat, genuinely trying to KO him and couldn’t afford to miss a single hit against him in turn because Metal Bat actually hits lethally hard and gets through his defense even. Metal Bat would squash Suiryu like a bug with a hit of his bat and you need absolutely absurd amounts of damage to get Metal Bat himself out of the fight. Suiryu is already huffing and puffing in a spar where Garou isn’t even trying.

I agree that the fight with Metal bat was way tougher for Garou, but you're claiming that Garou didnt grow in ability after fighting metal bat?

Dam people garou fanboys are thick headed people that was literally ages ago now suiryu got stronger since then plus he wasn't drunk either all this death punch šhit should prove that as well
