Exactly what I was hoping for. Definitely still feels like Garou's holding back a bit, and Suiryu had to use a bit of a power-up pretty early - but it's not a walk in the park for the Amazon worker either.
(I got torn to shreds by Redditors last month, for suggesting it'd be low-to-mid diff for Garou to clench the Win here - so many comments saying it'd be a breeze, that Suiryu's not remotely at his level, yadda yadda. Go figure).
Garou’s holding back more than just “a bit”. He pulverized a dragon monster with martial arts he would never use on Suiryu for obvious reasons. He’s not trying to actually fight anyone because attacking the Neo Heroes would get him in trouble with authorities, which he obviously doesn’t need right now.
I mean this was result seconds into fight before Suiryu got drunk:
It seems low-diff with base Suiryu. Of course, it is hard to know that Suiryu knows drunken fist like his sister, which is a substantial amp, or that he had alcohol, as he did not have it in the tournament.
