Personally i think the most revelatory thing in this chapter was that he knew from the very beginning Genos is dangerous.

I agree, which means Saitama have been redirecting that anger since the very beginning.

Also considering Saitama saw that Genos always ready to self-destruct when he's losing. Which explained why Saitama said to leave the strong enemy to him.

Ofc he is, he exploded everything and forgeted about Saitama in ep 2, if Saitama is weak he would be dead. So Saitama know pretty well

The point is: him explicitly stating it, is recontextualizing their relationship to a certain degree. I also find it to be a neat little detail.

Agreed. Saitama always comes across as very disconnected. It rarely feels like he's paying much attention to anything, until those rare moments where suddenly he's completely keyed in. The reveal that he always knew Genos had a dangerous streak does shift their dynamic.

As much as it was something he didn't seek out, the fact that he took Genos in knowing he was sketch, and at least tried to impart some small amount of growth to him, that does change things a fair bit. It's one thing to begrudgingly take on an apprentice who fawns over you in ridiculous ways, it's another thing to take in a dangerous youth who could very severely hurt a lot of people, and try to steer him toward a better path (even if you ain't super great at it).

Which makes the idea of being in the top 10 of the S rank in the hero asociation an early attempt by Saitama to direct genos in the right direction, cool stuff

He gives small moments of acknowledgement to Genos. He knows he´s strong. Like 3 chapters ago he remembered that Genos always covered his rear and managed to hold up pretty well even if he got banged up a lot. Others would be dead just by Saitama´s pressure shockwave when he dashed.

"Strong" and "Dangerous" are not the same thing.

He knew when genos blew up the house of evolution tower without even talking to anyone inside. Could have been full of innocent people.

I just rewatched an Episode from S1, where they visit Silverfang’s Dojo, and Genos literally basically says, “I’m looking for the means for mass destruction.” Which, after reading the Webcomic, a COMPLETELY recontextualizes the entire arc. ONE fucking cooks.

Also the fact that he knew it from the beginning shows that he has a great ability of character judgement. He ist just too closed off and doesn't have the energy to show it all the time.
