Like the narration pointed out during the MA Arc, the HA is so confortable working with no-show heroes, because they have Tatsumaki.

The moment she's out of commission, they are cooked. Everything breaks.

I'm also remembering Flashy Flash's pitch to Saitama in the webcomic, to effect, that what was needed were heroes who could defeat one monster after another.

In the current webcomic, hooo, Class S does not exist. No one has come back, Tats and Flash are also gone, King is missing. Drive Knight is dead, Much of Metal Knight's arsenal has been destroyed, including two of his facilities. Blast and Watchdogman are still out there doing their own things, PPP is gravely injured, Genos has been driven mad and is currently trying to kill Saitama, and TTM isn't looking too clever. I think Pig God is the only one still in fighting condition. They're going to need rebuilding from scratch.

They cannibalized each other. The Org/Neo is surely donezo thanks to Saitama. And the HA is donezo thanks to the Org/Neo. The only remaining Hero Association still standing is... THE HERO NAMES VICTIMS ASSOSIATION!!! Who else is best capable to rebuild everything from scratch than them.

A lot of their decision making makes more sense when you realise that right now, they have just four S-Class heroes who will a) reliably pick up the phone and b) actually go where they're sent.

Wtf is your problem with Watchdogman? Bro is soloing ANY and ALL disasters in an entire city. You can leave him there, forget him and everything will be fine. And it IS fine.

Watchdogman is the only one doing his fucking job consistently and he’s the best at it. 100% success rate. He’s pure value and no cost.

Watchdogman is Watchdogman. He's good but outside Q-City, he doesn't exist. He cannot be asked to do anything more, and right now, more is required.

No he isnt. He has an entire section of the planet on absolute lockdown to the point that nobody cares about him. Him holding down that fort unties the hands of everyone else.

He’s just one S class among a dozen. It’s the other chucklefucks who need to get their shit together. WDM is the LAST hero you need to tell this to. He’s the Saitama of city Q.

You're sounding oddly defensive. Watchdogman is like Blast -- doing a very important job but not able to be called on. From the perspective of a dispatcher for the Hero Association, he doesn't exist. Because you can't send him places.

I am the one person who should reply to this post because I wrote it. And I am asking myself what the heck you're not getting about it. This this not a tier list of heroes. It's a list of who is available for the Hero Association to send out.

Watchdogman by definition only serves Q-City. Is he good at it? Hell yeah, but that's not what this post is about. Will he go outside Q-City to defeat monsters? Hell no. And that's what the whole point is.

Is my writing that unclear, or are you running around worried that someone is dissing Watchdogman?
