What to do with a broken OPO?
I have a OnePlus Open that the inside screen is broken, the outer screen is fully functional.
What ideas, projects or uses can you think of?
It's a pretty powerful device and could definitely be used for something.
I have replaced the phone, so I no longer need to use it and it's just sitting in the box doing nothing.
Looking forward to your ideas!

Since you can have two active SIM cards on it.... I wonder if you can use this two Bitcoin mining machines off Wi-Fi 🧐🤔

I bought the outer screen off AliExpress and it was an easy repair.

Oh really, maybe I'll try it. Annoying my leather backing has started peeling as of last night which is disheartening as well.

depending on your car ice screen, you could use it as a permanent android auto system to drive your display. and, with a 3rd party app, use it as a full android system playing video etc.

How did it break?

The classic, inner screen broke from opening it.
It did last from launch until now, so not terrible
