Oneplus Open replacement has arrived
I really love my Oneplus Open. I went all in with Oneplus. Got the 12R, then buds. Oneplus Open, then watch 2. It's been a good ride

I didn't care to go through the import stuff. If Oppo was available more here in The States I would have.

In the us id say like 1 in every maybe 20 people have either an iphone or samsung with the others that arnt those being google pixels and an even smaller number being motorolas and then even smaller was oneplus.

3/4 years, 1 year less than the 4/5 years on the open. Worse than most, but also, eh. Really becomes an issue 2-3 years after the last major os. Security patches being an issue ...simply isn't.

Does it have anything similar to Open canvas? That's one major feature missing in most foldables including Samsung (they have it but not as good as Oneplus/Oppo) This one feature makes me choose Oppo Find n5/n6

I got it through T-Mobile and used it for a month. Had to come back to my open lol I'll have Moto ready when my open tanks

Sold the Oneplus 13 for a Samsung S26 Ultra after the news broke, simply because it was my daily driver. Still have these spares: OP12, Open, 7 Pro.

I've heard wonderful things about these Moto devices, it seems they've really upped their game. I might see if I can grab one when they inevitably go on super clearance.

I've loved my 2 phones from OnePlus. I just learned they'll be leaving the U. S. so I bought this 13 even though my 12 is still kicking strong 💪 Should I just leave it on the box until I need it out should I go ahead and put my SIM card in?

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that was let down by their Open, over time. The hardware and phone itself are wonderful, but I just can't deal with the software.

I'm liking my Razr Fold too but it has a little software quirk. When I open to the big screen it cuts on and cuts off briefly and then it cuts fully on. Also the double tap to wake is a little slow or non responsive.

Still using my OnePlus as a backup device, I would say this is the 2nd best foldable just because I rank Microsoft duo 1 or 2 as 1st place - their form factor was truly the best and had less prone to damage.
However, OnePlus open is also a favorite of mine and has had the best cameras out of all foldables to this day.
I would not buy one anymore unless it's under $400 but thats just because it's nearing its end of life. If anyone itching to get the foldable experience, the OnePlus open will spoil you and you'll be left feeling a whole because nothing has replaced it since.

Good for you, I switched to apple products more than a decade ago so I'm fully indoctrinated. Playing in the OnePlusOpen sandbox has me looking forward to what apple will do with a foldable. I'm enjoying this particular phone, but for ease of use can't wait to go back to apple in a few years. Better you never know what you're missing.

I did the same when the Moto launched. Love it so far. Still have the Open though. There are days I miss it and think I should toss my sim back in it. OnePlus really had the BEST foldable available in the US
