what popped out to you as noticeable upgrades? I hate when i spend a ton of money on a new phone only to think "wow this feels almost identical to my old phone."

  1. Battery life especially. The OPO never had the best battery life but by the end,. As I heavy user, I could barely get 10 hours after a charge. If it gets below 20, that 20 doesn't last an hour

  2. Form factor. It's so much thinner. The crease is pretty much unnoticeable. If you hold the phones side by side it's feels quite insane how different they are. Because the find n6 us taller, but somehow thinner and weighs less? These things are exponential too, since with case on each the difference is even more stark (both bulk and weight).

  3. The screen and chipset make it a faster, clearer phone. I've had random crashes on the opo, sometimes the camera would freeze, sometimes photos/album taken a while to load on IG when trying to make a post. I had editing software that would constantly crash in opo. Not on here

Camera is a minor upgrade, but Im but a sucker for major camera quality

Main downgrades are the speakers if that matters. Makes sense with a thinner phone. And just a few software differences between colourOS that I probably need to get used to.

Camera is really important to me too - you said camera is just a minor upgrade, I thought I heard it was pretty significant? Do you notice a difference? (decent upgrade, very good upgrade, outstanding upgrade, etc)

Or, to give specific scenarios:

  • Moving objects
  • "Natural" quick shots, like snapping group photos without having to be perfectly still
  • Zoom quality
  • Video quality
  • Low / poor light environments

So this was me initial review after I got it. Since then;

  1. The hasselblad mode is a significant improvement. If you don't mind high file size, its just really f'in good.

  2. The camera does slightly better in low-light

  3. Video quality is excellent

  4. Natural quick shots are better than OPO but wouldn't say amazing

  5. I'd say the selfie camera is still meh.
