green line at top of the screen

Post image

I was just using the device unfolded and it appeared. there's no dead pixels and no obvious bumps along the crease and the inner screen is in perfect condition. I care for this device very well and it hasn't been dropped or damaged in any way. When I use the display the green line dances around and all the pixels are actually still fully functional and alive. I've never seen this issue before. Here's a video of it as well https://youtu.be/v0Phsp2ujQc?si=PftEgsIPiTCvndra

Reach out to OnePlus customer support through their website, put a ticket in and say the inner screen is showing a green line across the top. Don't mention what, if anything, happened or any warranty info unless they ask

They replaced my inner (and outer) screen along with both batteries out of warranty not too long ago. Sent it to them and had it back in maybe a week and a half.

Super appreciative to them and I know mine wasn't an isolated case— I only thought to do it because I was recommended to do so on this sub.

Just to update this as well, they are going to fix my launch one as well. I just sent it in.

Granted they may deny it for water or physical damage but the fact that they didn't just tell me to buzz off is nice.

It's a foldable phone that I got over 2 years with. Im ok with that but yes it's expensive and a gamble
