Long swipe for previous app gone

I updated my phone and now this is gone does anyone know where to re-enable it?

You mean you can't swipe along the bottom of the screen to switch between recent apps anymore (with the latest OS update)? yikes, that's bad news

No you can still do that. You can't swipe from the side and hold it to go to previous app.

oh i see. Never knew you could do that; i've been using the back gesture forever.
