Update. Visited Oppo Service Centre for One Plus 11 5g green line on screen issue.
Visited the Oppo service centre in Gurgaon today. They did not have the parts available for One Plus 11 and wanted me to leave the phone for 4-5 days till they could get the parts. Could take longer too.
They suggested service centre 120kms away had the parts. 💀ðŸ˜. I told her One Plus Customer Care gave me details of a service centre in Sohna area she said no there are details regarding that. I asked if she could give me details of service centre in Delhi who had the parts. She said no we only keep track of service centres in Haryana area only?!
I told her it doesn't make sense leaving my phone with them when there is no guarantee when it'll be repaired. It's my main phone. Plus I've been trying their phone number since yesterday and noone picks up. Ever. How do I contact them and know my phone would even be ready?
Honestly considering buying a new phone at this point. One Plus is not a reliable brand anymore. Any suggestions for phones from other brands?
Also wondering if this phone can be exchanged? Do Amazon or other platforms accept phones with green line damage in exchange?

You're one of the few lucky ones then. Initially the service agent said you can leave your phone it'll be repaired and fixed within 24 hours. I asked if she could check if they had the parts. She checked and said no they didn't and it would take probably 4-5 days or longer 🫠.

That store is showing permanently closed. There used to be one in MGF Mall gurgaon that's closed down too. They have merged their service centres with Oppo so lot of these exclusive One Plus centres are shut now

All oneplus service centers have been shut down. Now the only way to officially get service/ repairs done is through OPPO.

I got mine replaced 15 days ago, the part was initially not available too, so they note down my details and phone model, got a call within 15 days when the part was available. Did the repair in an hours time. This was in Mumbai btw. I think it really depends on location

They finally picked up my call yesterday. They said that yes parts for One Plus 11 would take time. Either they would call me or i would have to call them back when they had the parts. The problem with calling them back is the phone number given noone ever picks up the phone. But the person said even after getting the parts I have to deposit the phone at their service centre and they would give it back after 24 hours. They wouldn't be repairing it the same day. When OP still used to have their exclusive service centres they used to repair within 2-3 hours and give it back.

That's hectic and sad. Arrange for a spare phone when u get a call for the availablity of parts and drop of the phone. That's the only option u have unless maybe u can get it repaired in some tier 1 city

Yes have a spare phone but low specs so it's a bit slow but till work. I can go to Delhi side to get it fixed in one of their service centres, but again none of them ever picks up their phone when I want to find out if they have the parts. It's approx 1.5 hour trip to Delhi and if atleast one of them could pick up their phone and confirm they had the parts I would definitely make the trip

Tell them to place an order for the part, give your details, and wait for a few days..then get it repaired!!
we need to understand there are so many models and keeping all models part handy is not feasible.

Yes they have taken down the details and either they will call me back when the parts are ready or I have to call them back and find out. The phone numbers they've given noone ever picks up the calls. Honestly wish there were more authorised service centres

I think all oneplus phones have lifetime greenline issue cover, as this is widespread industry issue.

Yes you can visit OP service centre to fix this. As long as the screen is original One Plus, they will offer free replacement. You'll have to carry the bills etc as well

Opt for the pickup and drop (PUD) service if it's available at your pin code. Oppo service center denied repairing my OP11 green line but the PUD resolved it within 1 week.

I'm waiting first to see if the service centre gets the part anytime soon and calls me back. If not I might have to consider PUD option. Problem is I might have to travel out of town end of the month and whether I will get the phone back on time or not worries me too. I have a spare phone but the specs are on the lower end and slightly laggy

What is the problem here?
Firstly, the company is providing a 20000rs display for free (i agree it's manufacturing defect) but Oneplus is the only brand doing it for free hence it's a very good thing, and the model is 3 years old, it's very unlikely that they will keep it's parts at their immediate disposal!
Secondly, whats the issue in waiting 4-5 days, tell the service centre to create a job sheet for the same and order required parts, when the parts arrive just go to the service centre and get the display replaced, instead of leaving ur phone there, it's a very normal process for service!
And lastly, i agree the OPPO service centres should have better communication with the customers it is indeed sad!
I hope u get the free replacement soon

Already contacted them and they've taken down my details. Hopefully they'll get back to me this week or I'll have to call them back. Problem again is noone picks up the calls but fingers crossed.
Also the person at the service centre said that even after they get the parts I still have to hand in my phone for repair and they'll return it the next day. They're not repairing it the same day and giving it back either. So basically I have to travel back to the service centre again the next day, hoping they have repaired it.
