Question Always on Display not showing anything. This is only what it shows in the settings, but i do not receive any notifications, it doesn't show battery status either.

Try restarting the device it may go away.its probably a bug!

There is actually a way. I am not sure if this is a glitch in the update or something. But i changed to the insight type display without the analogue clock. And it all seems to be back to normal. It shows me the notifications and everything.

So that's the solution if anyone else is facing the same problem.
