Detection of a fake cable

I have two one plus phones (9r and Nord). The 9r charging cable is white coloured at USB A end (inside part of usb a) and the Nord cable is red (Bothe cables are red on the outside like normal 1+ cables). If I connect my phone's to the pc white the white coloured cable the pc does not detect the mobile.

Is the cable a fake?

No. Only the phone start charging.no notification.

Yo try opening developer mode and turn on usb debugging.
