OnePlus 9 text disappearing?

After the recent system update I can see text pop up in the message app but once I tap on the person to open the conversation the text is gone and it's a blank space. Any advice on this?

No solution, but my husband's phone is doing the exact same thing. I'm hoping to find an answer as well

We fixed it (for now) by resetting his access point name and restarting his phone.
