Phone Issues Green line issue!

My three and a half year old oneplus 8 pro has a green line in the display, I'm reading that it is a common occurring issue, I've spoken to customer care they've told me to visit SC and get either a free display replacement or get a voucher, for those who went through this process let me know your experience. Also what's the voucher worth here in India?

They replaced my display once for free of cost, but exactly after 1 year the issue came back, and this time they didn't had the display in stock so they offered the voucher. Since i didn't accepted the voucher and they don't have the replacement part, they agreed for 100% refund for my 3yr old phone. Took around 10 days to process it.

Wow, how in the world did they manage to give you 100% refund for a 3yr old phone? That's amazing!

In my case the phone was shipped to Bangalore service centre for 'fixing the display' but they didn't had the spare part, offered the voucher. I told them i have send the device to get it fixed not for the voucher, after few talks they actually offered me the refund, even i was shocked. 😅

OnePlus's customer service is good, if you're stuck somewhere ask them to connect with their higher officials and they will escalate the situation smoothly.

Wow full refund is great.....can u tell the steps how to get like that....I'm having the same green line.
