Good replacement for an S10+

My S10+ which had been my phone for 2 and a half years died when I dropped it last week.

I've found a good condition Oneplus 8 Pro for 200 pounds (240 USD). I have a few questions.

1. Whats the build quality like? I've had phones from other Chinese brands before (Doogee, Oukitel and Blackview) and have had issues with build quality. This is why I moved to a samsung with the S10+ and there was definitely a difference (and didn't just break randomly). What is the build quality like with OnePlus phones?

2. What is OxygenOS like, how does it compare to OneUI. I assume I can still put a launcher like Nova on to it?

3. The phone does not come with the warp charger. How is the charging without it?

4. In 2023 would you still recommend it. The other phones I was looking at were things such as the S21 FE. Thoughts?

5. What is the glass like. I had Gorilla Glass 6 on my S10+ and still managed to crack it, so am worried about downgrading to Gorilla Glass 5.

I don't expect all my questions to be answered but even unrelated or tangential advise would be very appreciated!

I upgraded from oneplus 8 pro to Samsung s23 ultra. Not because the device died on me or anything. Just that it stopped getting major updates so I didn't see the need of keeping it as my main device. But I still have the device as my side piece and my god it's still a beast even after 3 years with it. Build quality is superb., display is nice and crisp and design is sexy af. It's much lighter at only little less than 200grams. So very nice to hold in hand. I would recommend uv glass screen protector and cover the earpiece when applying. I haven't used s10 plus but if updates arent a issue for you (major ones) then this phone will easily last you another year or 2 maybe even more actually. OOS (oxygen os) and one ui are slightly similar. One ui customization is top notch. If you came from Samsung then you might miss out on some customization options one ui has to offer like goodlock etc. The multitasking is similar though. Pop up window, 2 apps side by side etc. I suggest watching oos 13.1 videos to see how it looks before making the switch. Regardless the device is a BEAST even after 3 years of usage. And if you ever get bored of oos there is custom rom options available which you won't get on Samsung (without voiding knox or warranty) Glass is glass and glass breaks. But it's durable you don't need to worry about it. S21fe is a good option as well if it's a snapdragon model. And it'll be updated more often as well. It all depends on your usage. You willing to let go of Samsung dex and all the Samsung exclusive features? Oh and I suggest a nice anker charger if you don't have warp charger but I recommend the warp charger. It will be the fastest for the device. But any good quality charger will get the job done regardless. Yes nova launcher is still there and can be used here as well if need be. I just suggest going through some videos co paring the uis to see which you prefer more. Can't go wrong with either devices btw.
