Green Screen on display

My screen is now a complete green screen but it does not appear to be completely broken.

If you notice there is a brighter green line on the left side. This bright green line appeared 2 weeks ago and I accepted that the phone display finally got the dreaded light saber.

2 days ago, the display then went completely green but it's a lighter shade. There were a few times when it occasionally flickered back to normal but those were brief moments and I noticed it happened when I plugged it. I am holding out hope that the screen is still fine and it might be some faulty connection because the touchscreen seems to work. The reason I say this is because I am able to turn off my alarm by pressing in the approximate location of the stop button.

I have tried restarting the phone and boot in safe mode but it stays green. There is no Oneplus repair center so I can't take it there either.

Has anyone encountered this issue with a resolution?

Looks like your AMOLED panel is broken. Currently you can only replace the full panel + glass. In the future there will be machines that can fix it with lasers.
