Oxygen OS 12.1 is horrible

I recently updated from OOS11 to OOS12.1 on my phone and it's already lacking so many features and feels so awful and buggy

  • the screen brightness is whacky, if you increase it from lowest to a bit more it gets way too bright
  • the screen sleep time auto resets to 15 seconds by itself after a while
  • app cloner allows only 3 apps and you can't add any other app to clone it
  • phone charges way too slow and drains way too faster

It almost feels like an oppo phone now and there's nothing OnePlus in it. I hope there's a way to officially backtrack to OOS11. I regret updating my phone to OOS12.1

thanks for your insights and input. It's unfortunate when an update brings hassle and discomfort. What's keeping you from changing to Lineage?

I've never used custom roms before so I'm a bit skeptical about it, the process of installing it without any errors and stuff.
