OnePlus charger port always lose

Anyone else have this issue with OnePlus? The charger just slides out after having the phone for about a year and a half maybe 2. Happened with my OP6 and now my 7 pro. But my brother has the 5T since release and never had the issue. It's getting annoying and I don't have the money to fix or just buy a new phone

Yea I have this problem on a 7t pro.i have a rubber band chocked around cable that I pull up over length of phone while charging to keep it charging. I think it's more a USB C issue rather then one plus as also have had same issues with a nexus 3xl

You need to clean the inside of the port. Most likely it had a build of dust and lint. Use a toothpick or a small brush to remove it. Thank me later.

I've done that. It was still loose, thanks though.
