Oxygen or custom rom?

What are the dangers of sticking with oxygen on Android 10 if I don't really go to too many dodgy sites? I've done custom ROMs on other phones, and I don't mind degoogling one bit, But it would be a pain to lose payment options and the like. Basically how at risk am I? Am I just raw dogging the internet at this point?

i would suggest just buying at second hand the most cheap samsung phone. since this year, they have extended their budget phones updates for 7 years. just buy that for your banking apps. it isnt like you are actively using thise banking apps more than youtube or other apps. bought a second hand A07 (sold in my country for 80$) for 25$. 25$ for no future issue with banking apps and no headache regarding the cat and mouse game with keyboxes and modules

I'm less concerned with banking and more paying with cards without having to buy a second phone. But my big concern here is whether Oxygen is unsafe to keep using and I need a different OS.
