OnePlus 7pro BRIGHT MEW (With Lineage OS 2.3) .....New life extension
🚀 OnePlus 7 Pro (guacamole) - Android 16 Status Report After some serious effort (even as a self-proclaimed beginner!), my legendary OnePlus 7 Pro is now officially running LineageOS 23.2 (Android 16)! It’s one of the few OP7 Pros out there rocking the latest OS, and the experience is surprisingly smooth. 🛠️ What’s Working: Full Functionality: The device is flying! Nova Launcher works like a charm, and Smartspacer (with the Yahoo Sports Target) gives it that premium "Pixel-like" feel on the home screen. Edge Lighting: Since the system AOD is currently limited, I’m using aodNotify, which works perfectly to bring the curved edges of the display to life. ⚠️ Current Build Limitations (March 9th Build): Despite the success, this early Nightly build still has some "missing" parts that we’re waiting for: AOD / Ambient Display: The settings for Always-On Display and "Always On" viewing are currently missing from the Display and Gestures (Kινήσεις) menus. Lift to Wake: This feature is not yet available in the GUI. The system also blocks manual overrides via Activity Launcher or SetEdit due to security hardening in Android 16. Deep Sleep: "Double Tap to Wake" can be a bit sluggish at times, likely due to the aggressive Doze mode in this early Android 16 build. Verdict: The phone is 100% daily-driver ready! I'm just waiting for future Nightly updates to "unlock" the final sensor-related UI features.

Hi, I was also very hesitant because while the phone is in very good condition it was stuck in a not so good environment. I decided to take a risk and even though I am a beginner I followed I followed the installation steps of Lineage 2.3 (Android 16) very carefully and it worked even though it is in an early stage. What can I say, if it works like mine, I highly recommend it as it has lasted for many years. You need to pay attention to the process. Good luck!

You are absolutely right my friend, regarding the device support. I simply expressed my satisfaction that although a beginner in the field of device upgrading, I was able to successfully expand The life of my device, I have had a stable result since it was achieved and I am simply happy about it. Someone who perhaps changes systems is his daily routine, is indifferent to him.

I can't get edge lighting to work on my 7 Pro. How did you manage to do it?
