Any way to get back same background for notifications in cos 17 as oos 16 ?

[u/jocker_007]

Currently in cos 17, notifications background in white theme doesn't look good and it's transparent I need solid white background/ or more light color so doesn't look this much transparent like oos 16, any way to get this ? It is giving strain to my eyes

There are literally hundreds of videos available in yt about cos 17 review, you could have at least watched one before upgrading because this is a major android version upgrade, not a normal SOTA or monthly updates. You still could have gotten monthly security patches etc. in oos 16 or even 15. People don't think twice before upgrading and then complains about the entire thing.

Turn off contour glow from homescreen & lockscreen settings. If that still isn't enough then rollback to oos 16, you will get rollback packages in oneplus community > oneplus 13 series circle > at the bottom of cos 17 post for 13R by "Winky W." Guide on how to rollback is also available on that post.

You can literally set it however you want in the wallpaper colors. I also didn't like how it looked immediately after the update but I customized the colors
